Practical file guide
Combine JPG and PNG images into one PDF in the right order
When a recipient accepts one PDF instead of several photos, place your images on PDF pages in a deliberate order. ClearFile accepts JPG, PNG and WebP together and creates a new PDF locally, without an account or a source-file upload.
This browser tool needs no account. Your selected files stay on your device. Keep the original and check the download.
Prepare readable images
Check that every image is upright and readable before selecting it. A photo of a page should include the full page, without fingers, glare or clipped lines. Creating a PDF does not repair blur or recover text outside the frame.
Keep the originals. If the images need rotation or cropping, prepare them in an image editor first. This workflow places the selected images on PDF pages; it does not automatically detect page edges or straighten a photographed document.
Select images and set the page order
Open Images to PDF and select the images together, up to 20 files. You may mix supported formats. Use the earlier and later arrows in the numbered file list to place each image where it belongs. Each image becomes a page.
Do not rely on filename sorting as proof of the right order. Check the actual list against your intended sequence, especially when filenames include numbers such as 2 and 10. Remove accidental duplicates before creating the PDF.
Choose page size and avoid accidental cropping
Choose A4 or US Letter and portrait or landscape. Set the margin in points. Fit whole image keeps the complete picture within the printable area, so a differently shaped image can leave blank space. This is usually the safer choice for documents with content near the edges.
Fill page and crop fills the printable area but can remove the edges of the image. Use it only when losing those edges is acceptable. A landscape photograph placed on a portrait page may have substantial blank space with Fit or substantial cropping with Fill. Choose the orientation deliberately.
Create and inspect the final PDF
Choose Create PDF, download and open the saved document. Check the number of pages, their order, orientation and readability. Zoom into small text and inspect page edges. Compare the final size with any attachment limit.
Images in a PDF remain images; this step does not add a searchable text layer. Use Image to text if you need editable English words, and check the OCR output against the source. If you only need to join existing PDFs, use Merge PDF instead of converting their pages into pictures.
Try the next step
Keep your original and check the downloaded result. Report a problem or suggest a clearer explanation without attaching private files.
